Dental Implants
A dental implant is a replacement for a tooth. It not only improves the look of your smile, but it prevents the rest of your teeth from shifting, improves chewing and prevents bone deterioration in your jaw. Inserting an implant involves inserting a titanium screw into the gums to replace the root. After the screw has melded to the jaw bone, a post is placed on top of the screw to serve as the foundation for the tooth, and a crown is placed on top of the post to restore the tooth’s appearance and strength. An implant will act just as a real tooth and is fully functional.
Oral Cancer Screenings
During your routine cleaning, we will inspect your mouth for precancerous or cancerous symptoms, such as sores or discolorations. When oral cancer is caught early, the chances of being able to treat it are much higher.
